Tread Lightly: Winter Climbing in the Eastern White Mountains – Online Community Forum

February 25, 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm EST

Free

Join Friends of the Leges and the Access Fund in a community forum about winter climbing in the White Mountains.

As more and more people discover the challenge and allure of cold weather climbing, there is an increasing concern about permanent rock damage caused by dry tooling and mixed climbing.

Help us engage in a meaningful exchange of viewpoints on recreating responsibly, with the goal of fostering a sense of stewardship for the land and the activities we love.

The panel discussion will be moderated by Mike Morin (NE Regional Director for the Access Fund) and will feature climbers Mark Richey, Majka Burhardt, Janet Bergman Wilkinson, Bayard Russell, and Zac St. Jules. The discussion also features you! Please contribute to our comment form any time ahead of the event and/or attend the meeting and submit questions to the moderator and panel in real time.

Please note: attendance is limited, so please reserve your spot by signing up for a free ticket via Eventbrite.
